The 411 on Julie
Julie Maloney is a 32 year old mother of two young boys and lives with her husband Ryan and children in Fort Mill, South Carolina. She is also one of the original challengers and we are thrilled to have her back for round two! You can follow her on twitter at @momspective

What do you do?
I have been an active member of the blogging community for nearly a year.  I blog “The Cool Mom’s Guide to parenting (or attempting to)” on my personal site, Momspective. In November 2008 I wrote a story about my weight loss journey using the Nintendo Wii. I met two other enthusiastic bloggers and co-founded the Wii Mommies virtual fitness website in December 2008.

In your spare time…
When the weather cools and football teams take the field I can be found at home, cheering on the Carolina Panthers.  I use my passion for football to help women enjoy the game and help strengthen relationships with their spouses by teaching women about the sport through Fantasy Football.

Mirror mirror on the wall…
When I look in the mirror I see a woman who has managed to not only change her life, but who has taken a positive experience and used it to help motivate and inspire other individuals to do the same.  While I am by no means a supermodel, I have gotten down to a comfortable weight and I am no longer ashamed of my body.  It's so rewarding to know that my journey has inspired others who have lost tremendous amounts of weight based on my story.

Goals for the Active for Life 6 Week Challenge
Well, even though I managed to lose a lot of weight, I still would like to get more off.  I enjoy eating what I want, so I have to keep up with my fitness routine to prevent from gaining the weight back.  After having to take a break from fitness due to abdominal surgery and pneumonia, I can see where my body needs me to stay active to keep me thin.  I also would LOVE to see a flat stomach for the first time in my life.

Are you working out these days?
I work out at least four days a week using EA SPORTS Active.

What you love
My legs. I have great legs thanks to my mom!

What you love a little less
It’s always been my stomach. Not only has it never been flat, no matter how much I have lost, but it's got loose skin from 2 kids and a hysterectomy.  I also recently took a look at my thighs and would like to see improvement there.

What was your experience with EA SPORTS Active Personal Trainer?
I lose 8 pounds during the first challenge and 7 pounds during the second! I also went from a size 8 to a size 6. After my operation and lack of fitness routine, I went back to an 8 and can feel my waistline shrinking with my most recent challenge. I really believe that a person should eat what they want in moderation.  I can't live without a burger and fries from time to time and using EA SPORTS Active regularly allows for that special treat I deserve. EA SPORTS Active also brought my family together.  Since there is a two player option, I can work out with my four year old with me and can have healthy competitions with my husband.  My toddler just loves dancing to the music!

Since you completed the original 30 day challenge…
I had mastered EA SPORTS Active on the most difficult settings and was in a great place.  I had an unexpected issue and was unable to work out for three months and could feel how necessary it is for me to stay active.  Since getting clearance from my doctor to exercise, I have started using EA SPORTS Active again at the easy level and can feel a difference not only in my body but in my soul as well.  My energy levels are up and the depression issues I wrestle with seem to disappear when the endorphins are running through me!

How will you reward your fabulous self after THIS challenge?
CLOTHES!  I need new clothes.  After I lost the weight, I put on my old clothes that I hadn't work in over 5 years.  While the jeans are pretty much still in style, I would love some great tops to show off my figure!

What are you Active for?
I’m Active for life
