This is the best exercise program ever! I love the mix of sports exercises, Cardio and upper body. I love all the incentives: trophies, the calorie burn count and how well you are doing. I love this program and can't wait to exercise in the morning. I would recommend it for everyone to do.

I just got the Wii console last week and just picked up Sports Active yesterday. I brought it home and jumped right into the 30 day challenge. I used the leg strap but not the resistance band since I already own a few reebok resistance cords. For the most part, the leg band stayed in place, however, after reading the reviews here, I too sewed a small pocket into the front of my biker shorts for the nunchuk. I'm looking forward to finishing the 30 day challenge and maybe picking up the more workouts video.

After getting familiar with Active for a week or so, I started the 30 day Challenge yesterday. I agree with several other comments about how annoying it is to constantly change from nunchuk in the leg band, then out, then in, etc. Same with the band. I aborted the leg band and sewed a little pocket in 2 pairs of spandex shorts. Leg band issue averted. Back-up resistance bands are ready when these break. I am 55 and mostly sedentary for years. The lunges really make my knees hurt. Otherwise, I am working up a sweat.

My suggestion to new users: If you are in ANY kind of shape, or if you truly want to get fit or lose weight, do the 30-Day challenge set to HARD or at least medium. Yes, you will be sore and you will think it's one of the most difficult things you've ever done to your body - but you WILL see results, and fast! Also, once you've gotten past the soreness, you may even have so much energy that you will feel like tacking on a 10-20min custom workout after your scheduled workout. Go for it! And don't forget to complete your workout journal after every exercise. It will help you to obtain and maintain balance in other aspects of your life (sleep, nutrition, water intake, etc...)

Hello Everyone, I would appreciate any pics you may have of the tears/rips anyone may have in their leg strap. I am developing a quick fix for this and need to make sure I have addressed all defects. Please forward to enzo_annamaria@yahoo.ca Thanks for your help. Enzo

I have had my wii sports active for a few months. I like it better than the wii fit because it does give you a good workout. I have a few complaints, however. My band and leg band broke! A few exercises don't recognize my arm motions. This is very frustrating! I hope these are being reviewed because I really do like the exercises, especially the upper body workout. It compliments my outside cardio that I do.

I enjoy my WII Sports Active. I wish however that it had more of a selection of exercises & how to revise some exercises so you don't stress out certain joints like your knees.

I love this wii ea sports active...my main complaint is that I have started the 30 day challenge TWICE. I had completed a week of the 30 day challenge and one day my whole profile was deleted. today my son took the disk out at the end of my work out before it was saved and I lost credit for my whole entire workout. I am very annoyed by this!

I simply love it. I found that the muffin top I had is now disappearing. I am half way through the 30 day challenge and cannot wait until the end results are in. I highly recommend this activity.

I LOVE my wii active! I have the wii fit & it doesnt even begin to compare to the wii active. Im starting the second week of the 30 day challenge. It gives a great continuous workout, which i break a sweat to every time. I like the calorie counter & the fact that it keeps me moving going automatically goes from 1 excecise to the next. I have had just a little trouble with it sensing my movements here & there but the program tells you often that the position of the hand controls are important & they are. The band is kinda wimpy, we moved the handles further down on the band to increase the resistance of it & that has worked well. I do also have the wii balance board & have worked out with & with out it. I like the workout it gives with the board but it gives just as great of a workout without it. Overall its GREAT & i would encourage anyone to buy it!

I bought EA Sports Active 10 days ago and love it. It feel like I have done something after my daily workout. I use it with my balance board and like it 100x more than wii Fit. The variety makes the time fly. I love the calorie counter also. Motivates me to do better so I can burn more calories. Highly recommend!

I don't feel the resistance band is strong enough. I am going through a second round of the 30-day challenge and the band is starting to shred. Overall I am very happy with Wii Active. It sure beats the treadmill! I would like to know how accurate the calorie counter is though.

I AM 64 YEARS OLD, VERY OVER-WEIGHT AND HAVE ARTHRITIC KNEES. BUT I NEED TO KEEP MOVING AND EA ACTIVE HELPS ME DO JUST THAT! I ONLY HAVE 2 SMALL COMPLAINTS: 1) I DO NOT FIND THE BANDS COMFORTABLE. I HAVE ORDERED EXERTUBES WHICH I AM FAMILIAR WITH AND THESE SHOULD BE BETTER. 2) I FIND IT VERY AWKWARD MOVING THE NUNCHK BACK AND FORTH AS WELL AS SWITCHING FROM THE BANDS TO THE NUNCHUK IN THE LEG BAND, AND BACK TO NUNCHUK AND REMOTE IN HAND. I FEEL I AM LOSING MOMENTUM WHEN I DO THESE CHANGES.

There is no mention on the box or website what other Wii components are required to use this?!?!?!? what is the device that goes in the leg band? you would think they would tell you on the outside of the box what else you need before you can use this product.

I am not pleased with the program. My biggest problem is that the leg strap is waaaay to small for my thigh. It has been very difficult to get the program to "read" my efforts because the leg strap will not stay on. The exercise band seemed flimsy, so I have had to replace it with one from the physical therapy department of my local hospital. The replacement is of the same type, but is somewhat stronger. The kit should include a longer leg strap (or one that adjusts better) and a stronger exercise band. As far as being an alternative to the Wii Fit, I feel that this program falls short. I will be sticking with my Wii Fit.

I love this game it is awesome. I have lost 30 lbs and 40 inches. I am toned and have muscles now. I love it. My leg strap broke as well. It is because when you are working so hard the sweat make it fall down your leg and you tighten it. Mine was my leg is so big that I needed to pull it tight just to get it to stay on. I have bought two extra now. Can we not just buy the leg strap instead of the whole kit of both straps?

I find it annoying and time consuming to have to keep putting the numchuck in and out of the pouch, which is very tight. I am a short person married to a tall person and it is not possible for us to share the leg band without have to re-size it each time. I think the programs provide for great workouts, changing the "equipment" requires a lot of time - i.e., the 20 min. workout usually takes 30 or more minutes just to get the numchuck or the leg band set up.

Half way through my second 30 day challenge the elastic band shredded at both ends where it attached to the handles. Also noticed the leg strap split in the back and the tread the holds the pouch that holds the numchuk is getting loose. I like the program but I don't think one should be replacing part after a month and a half.

After 15 days of training, my leg strap broke. I wish that it was better made!
