I had the hardest time finding a dress to wear

On August 9th, 2009, my little sister got married. I had the hardest time finding a dress to wear, but finally found one in a plus size clothing store. I was so depressed.  I avoided all cameras at all cost, but still got captured, being the sister of the bride. What a humiliating day for me. After I saw all the photos from the wedding, I felt even more depressed.

That was it. I'd had enough! I went out and bought the Wii Fit, and EA SPORTS Active in August 2009 amd I started working out hard at home. It felt rejuvenated every day after a workout. Not only that, but over time, I noticed that my super crazy high blood pressure and heart palpitations had calmed down big time. I'm not one for looking in a mirror much, but suddenly everyone I knew was making comments about my weight. But they were nice comments now!

Before, people would poke fun at me for being overweight (I guess they think that’s funny, but it hurt. The truth does hurt). NOW, they were all gawking at me and talking about how much weight I'd lost and how great I looked!

Every November 11th (Remembrance Day in Canada), I dress up, out of respect for our Veterans. The last 6 years I'd owned a dress suit that I loved, but couldn’t fit  into, never mind do it up! This year on November 11th, 2009, I finally fit into that outfit, and it was loose! I got stares and smiles everywhere I went! I felt so confident. I actually felt pretty, and I haven't felt that way in a very very long time!

Between August and November I lost 40lbs, and brought my body fat level down to more manageable 25% (from the previous 35%). My jeans have gone from a size 38 down to a size 32. I still have 10 more lbs to go, but I see light at the end of the tunnel! Finally. And it feels awesome!

Recently, I bought EA SPORTS Active More Workouts and I love it! I've even converted my mom and dad and they've returned their home gym and bought all the Wii stuff I have. They love it as well.

Wii Fit, EA SPORTS Active and EA SPORTS Active More Workouts together and watching my food portion sizes have made a better me!  YEAH ME!!  YEAH Wii!!!  Life is good!  Happy New Year Everyone!

Sincerely,
Tannis Atchison
